At English Corner, international students practice everyday conversation, pronunciation and speaking skills using a variety of topics and fun exercises. Usually there are several American helpers, so larger groups are often break up in order to have more personal conversation.
Some activities have included: playing games that use English, watching a video clip and discussing it, sharing about cross-cultural topics, going on field trips, picnics and cookouts, and much more.
American volunteers are always welcome to help, so if you are interested in having a great time making international friends and assisting them in their English, contact our friends at GO-UT.
