Our Building Fund Match has come to a close! With some last minute gifts, we were able to reach our $110,000 matching goal! That means that we can add $220,000 to our building fund and that much closer to having our own welcoming space for internationals!

The Water for Ishmael Board and staff are looking for a building that will suit all of our needs and increase our capacity for serving refugees and immigrants in Toledo.
Why?
- Immigrant children and their moms are being turned away from our schools until we are able to expand.
- Our evening program must have better access to office support and find suitable classrooms for adults.
- Approximately 40 staff and volunteers share one small office. We love each other, but it is impacting productivity and staff morale. We want to be at our best to serve our clients.
- We’re launching a Workforce Development program to better equip mothers for the workforce.
- God is calling us to expand the services we offer to better serve immigrants working toward self-sufficiency.
