Jenn’s class is filled with immigrant children preparing for Kindergarten. Some are solidifying English as their second language. Some are adjusting to how American school systems function. Some are learning to play well with other children who don’t look anything like them.
For $5, an immigrant child receives one hour of preschool instruction. Giving Tuesday this year is about preparing immigrant children to enter into the American school system seamlessly.
