It all started from an idea from a former English student.
She loved cooking. She suggested that our students, from around the world, cook traditional food from their home countries and say thanks to the Toledo community for helping them learn English and develop friendships with locals and other English learners.
Since then, we’ve been doing the International Dinner Fundraiser every year. Our students cook their hearts out and the community comes to experience the world by enjoying delicacies from over 20 countries.
All the money raised will support English learning for children of immigrant families. Sponsors for the event cover all the cost so that every ticket sold and gift given on the night goes to support the children.
Buy your tickets on the website starting in early February, come hungry and enjoy international entertainment, shop at our international bazaar, and eat a variety of homemade food you can’t find anywhere else.
